This policy explains how PickBell handles restaurant account data and operational data required to provide the service.

Data we collect
Restaurant account details such as name, owner/contact details, email, phone, username, subscription records, payment references, team accounts, operational order metadata, security events and technical logs needed to run the service.
Customer data minimization
The core tracking flow does not require a customer account, customer name or customer phone number. Restaurants should not place unnecessary personal data in bill or order fields.
Why we process data
Data is used to provide the platform, authenticate users, isolate tenants, manage subscriptions, deliver order tracking, support customers, prevent abuse, investigate security events and comply with legal obligations.
Payment data
PickBell may store payment method, amount, reference and verification status. Payment providers may process additional financial data under their own policies. PickBell does not ask users to place card credentials in ordinary PickBell forms.
Security logs
Security and audit logs may include a one-way hash derived from an IP address rather than storing the raw address in the PickBell activity table.
Sharing
Data may be processed by service providers required for hosting, email, payments, notifications, backups or security. PickBell does not sell restaurant or customer conversation/data records to advertisers.
Retention
Operational data is retained while needed for service, support, security, billing and legal obligations. After account closure, ordinary operational account data may be retained for up to 30 days before deletion or de-identification unless a longer period is required.
Access and control
Restaurant owners can manage their team accounts and should contact PickBell for account-level privacy requests that cannot be completed from the interface.
Cookies and local storage
PickBell may use essential cookies for WordPress sessions, security, language preference and other functionality required to operate the service.
Updates
This privacy policy may be updated when the service, law or processing practices change. Material changes may require renewed acceptance.
